Strengthen Your Partnership with Yoga

Do you go all out for Valentine's Day with gifts, food and romance for your partner? I asked my husband if he had a night of romance and wining and dining planned for us on Valentine's Day. I saw the blank look in his eye trying to figure out what I was talking about. I mean, it is still about 5 weeks away (not that makes a difference). My husband's romantic side for Valentine's Day is pretty long gone. Since he doesn't have a plan in mind, I have plans for us and 8 other couples on Valentine's evening if they are up for some fun. Here is how this idea for a Valentine's date night came about.
I was sitting with 2 wonderful women talking about how life is so busy and how do you find time to fit it all into your schedule? How can you be a good wife, mother, friend and employee and still find time to take care of yourself? Are you floating in the same boat or is your boat slowly sinking? Balancing everything can feel so overwhelming and the waves can feel like they are dragging you down and then you stand up, only to be knocked over again. Finding time for yourself, time with your partner, time with children and then how about your friends, can be really difficult. I was asking about some ideas for yoga classes that would be fun. That's when the idea of a Valentine's Day class came about. I started doing some thinking and looking online for fun ideas, when Partner Yoga popped up. What's better than a class that you can do with someone you want to spend time with, laugh and play and then release some stress and tension before you return home for then night?
I invite you to take time for you and someone you care about this Valentine's Day with Partner Yoga. Your partner doesn't need to be someone you are romantic with. It can be a family member, workout buddy, best friend- just bring someone with you that loves to laugh, have fun and has a great attitude. This class will also teach ways that you can let tension and stress release from your body and mind. What greater gift is one that is filled with playfulness, has good health benefits and builds trust and connection. "Nothing works faster or more dependably to bring your mind and body back into balance than a good laugh." This is what the end goal is for this night. An added bonus is the ending to the night with a deluxe chocolate meditation. Who doesn't like chocolate?
My husband doesn't realize yet that his part in this fun adventurous evening is that we will be demonstrating the partner poses for the other people in the class. This is going to be so much fun. I love to let my playful side out once in a while. It feels so good to just have fun, laugh and be silly when you are with someone you care about. Life gets too serious and hard sometimes, especially in these past few years. If this sounds like fun to you, sign up on my website. Spots are limited to 8 couples/partners due to space size. This is a class you can come to and be free to laugh and have the permission to just be yourself. Come out and enjoy an hour of time and connect with your partner.
